Tamil Nadu HSC 12th Result 2014

The Tamil Nadu Board of the Senior Secondary Education is about to announce the result for the class 12th examination which is popularly known as the HSC examination in the first month of May 2014. The results of the HSC examination have been delayed due to the Lok Sabha elections. The students could check their results on the official site of the HSC and they must enter the accurate roll number for viewing their results. In addition to it, the students could also take out the print out of the provisional mark sheet. 

According to the analysis of the previous year, the examination was conducted in the month of March and around 8,53,355 students appeared in the paper. The results of this examination were announced by the Directorate of Government Examinations on 9th May 2013. About 88.1 percent of the overall students appeared for the exam in the previous year remains successful. However, this result was better than the result of the previous year as the pass precent in the year 2012 was 86.7. The toppers of this exam belong to the Namakkal district and the girls lead the boys when we 
consider the pass percentage in the 2013 HSC results. However, the first place was secured by two 
boys whereas the second position was begged by a boy and a girl. 

The Tamil Nadu Board of the Secondary Education was set up in the year 1910. This board is looked by the Directorate of Government Examination, Tamil Nadu. The number of students that appeared this year are about 10.5 lakh and the Board conducts two examinations each year, one for class 10th 
and the other for class 12th.
